  • Raised £400m investment from large institutions.
  • Acquired over 360,000 wayleaves across Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Private Landlords.
  • Deployed our full fibre infrastructure to over 100,000 premises.

Job purpose:

Overall, you will be a core member of Community Fibre’s Digital Customer Acquisition Squad with the mission to make CFL the fastest growing fibre network in London, bringing internet speeds of up to 3 Gbps to Londoners to get London ready to be a technology leader.

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for developing and driving the digital experience roadmap. Our objective is to produce the UK’s best digital customer experience of any broadband network – going beyond what anybody has done so far and enabling our customers to enjoy the fastest fibre at maximum speed. Your role will include shaping our strategy, managing product development with a team of engineers.

CFL is transforming into a digital leader to enable our fast growth to 1m households by 2023. We’re a team of doers and move at the highest possible pace.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Customer experience feature roadmap: Develop the vision and roadmap for CFL’s digital customer experience – how will we become the best digital experience in the UK
  • Customer research and analysis: Discover pain points of customers through interviews, root cause analysis and web behavior analysis
  • Innovation: Innovate customer experience through experiments / A/B testing
  • Managing agile delivery: Manage and prioritise the product backlog. Manage delivery with a team of engineers.
  • Agile Ceremonies: Lead Agile Refinement, Planning and Review ceremonies.
  • Quality Control: Check quality of sprint outputs before delivery of new features

The experience we’re looking for you to bring:

  • Overall, we hire for strong intrinsic capabilities
  • Passion for creating excellent digital customer experiences (no industry knowledge needed, can be from other industries)
  • >3y experience as a product owner for a digital product in a B2C context or strong related experience
  • Technical understanding – you understand how web technology works (HTML, cookies, Javascript…) so you’re able to come up with innovative yet feasible solutions
  • Delivery experience – experience in delivering across multiple platforms (mobile, web, app)
  • Analytical – you are used to working with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to inform your decisions as PO
  • Team Player – you will manage a team of engineers and business analysts
  • Doer – you get things done. Done is better than perfect
