We are not the new kid on the block, we were established in 2013 and some of our key achievements since then include:


  • Raised £400m investment from large institutions.
  • Acquired over 360,000 wayleaves across Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Private Landlords.
  • Deployed our full fibre infrastructure to over 100,000 premises.

Job purpose:

Overall, you will be a core member of Community Fibre’s Digital Customer Acquisition Squad with the mission to make CFL the fastest growing fibre network in London, bringing internet speeds of up to 3 Gbps to Londoners to get London ready to be a technology leader.


As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute Community Fibre’s online marketing strategy to make online our hero channel. Our objective is to rapidly scale up our digital customer acquisition with a focus on paid channels (social, programmatic, search, affiliates) and CRM (prospecting emailing campaigns, SMS campaigns). You will collaborate with our Affiliate partners and the broader Marketing team to deliver this mission.


CFL is transforming into a digital leader to enable our fast growth to 1m households by 2023. We’re a team of doers and move at the highest possible pace.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the digital marketing plan and budget for your channels
  • Ideate new marketing campaigns to scale our sales faster
  • Execute digital marketing campaigns (agency will do execution, but you’re in charge of steering)
  • Manage our relationships with Affiliates
  • Plan and execute our CRM campaigns
  • Improve CRM campaigns through A/B testing
  • Analyse our results and generate insights


The experience we’re looking for you to bring:

  • Overall, we hire for strong intrinsic capabilities
  • >3y high-growth experience: Passionate about high growth – your mission is to scale up our business as fast as possible. You have worked at least 3 years in other high growth settings (start-up, scale-up).
  • >3y digital marketing experience in paid channels (Facebook, Google, Affiliates) and CRM (emailing, SMS)– Experience can be in an agency role or otherwise.
  • Serious creativity – you’re a source of new ideas and ready to go crazy. We want to see >3 examples of things you have created
  • Quantitative – you’re good with numbers and can solve problems with data. Your grade in mathematics was top quartile. You’re comfortable running analyses in Excel.
  • Technical understanding – you understand the basics of the web, e.g., HTML, cookies
  • Doer – you get things done. Done is better than perfect.
