  • We raised £400m investment in 2020 from large institutions to secure our ambitious growth plans.
  • We have acquired over 500,000 wayleaves across Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Private Landlords in London to support that growth.
  • We have deployed our 100% full fibre network to over 200,000 premises to deliver the growth, which is rapidly moving towards 1 million in 2023.

Job purpose:

Community Fibre, a London-based full fibre broadband provider is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team, in a newly created role. We’re looking for an experienced and creative content professional with demonstrable creative writing skills who can help articulate and amplify our company story to our key audiences.

You’ll be responsible for the brand content creation, production, and storytelling to help Community Fibre engage with the London communities (Consumers, B2B, and Landlords) across various digital and offline marketing channels.

Ultimately, you should be able to define a content strategy to ensure brand engagement, brand consistency, and a positive customer experience. If you are also an expert in content optimisation and brand playbook building, we would like to meet you.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Help define content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets and to create our first brand playbook. 
  • Manage content activation from brief to production.
  • Take ownership of the Community Fibre tone of voice, provide impactful and engaging copy for different audiences and applicable through various formats. Provide copywriting guidance to other members of the marketing team and/or copy-editing prior to existing content.
  • Support website ongoing refresh with branded content that drives engagement: provide to the website the relevant content in terms of video, animations, pictures and copy. 
  • Assist in producing high-quality articles, white papers, blogs, email marketing messages, case studies, presentation content, survey reports.
  • Push the business to adopt better content creation practices through frequent testing of new content formats and distribution channels, including championing the increased use of data visualisation.

The experience we’re looking for you to bring:

  • 3-5 years of writing and content creation experience at a media company, creative/media agency, or brand.
  • Proactive collaborator and problem-solver with demonstrated ability to oversee a project from concept to completion.
  • Strong digital background and project management skills are essential.
  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
  • Passionate about brand storytelling, content & industry trends, and innovations in branded content space.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and be resourceful while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accountability, hard worker with the commitment to perform tasks on deadline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms like Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, etc.
  • BSc degree in Journalism, Marketing or relevant field.
  • Experience in multimedia production, experiential, and/or managing budgets is a plus.
