  • We raised £400m investment in 2020 from large institutions to secure our ambitious growth plans.
  • We have acquired over 500,000 wayleaves across Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Private Landlords in London to support that growth.
  • We have deployed our 100% full fibre network to over 300,000 premises to deliver the growth, which is rapidly moving towards 1 million in 2023.

Job Purpose:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition Team in driving our Talent Acquisition/ Recruitment agenda forward at Community Fibre, including the continuous improvement of our strategies to attract the best talent, drive up applications in our local communities, schools, colleges and the Armed Forces as well as support in the build of our employer branding awareness in the job seeker community.


They will provide full support to our TA Team to ensure they can drive the delivery of outstanding, efficient and proactive partnerships and support to our Hiring Managers and teams on the attraction and recruitment of our people for Community Fibre.


This role reports into the Snr Talent Acquisition Partner and will closely support all members of the Talent Acquisition Team, as part of the overall People Team (HR). We are a cohesive team who are all happy to get stuck in and do what needs to be done. We work hard, thrive on the growth of the Company and love to have fun and a laugh. This role will suit someone who is keen to learn more about the recruitment function and has aspirations to become a recruitment specialist within a Company, finding our amazing people of the future. What you'll be doing (key points below, not an exhaustive list):

  • Supporting our recruitment process, and hiring managers with their department vacancies and following through the full recruitment lifecycle (not limited to):
    • The posting of job vacancies via required platforms/ methods,
    • CVs scanning and vetting against job criteria,
    • Interview coordination with candidates and Hiring Managers,
    • Phone screening and interviewing,
    • Communication of outcomes,
    • Supporting candidates until their first day. Coordinating IT support and role specific requirements, ensuring references have been checked,
    • Ensuring our HR team have all required information to set up new employees.
  • Working with the TA Team to drive the Company TA efforts forward by focusing on the continuous improvement of:
    • Our employer branding and reach,
    • Our relationships with recruitment contacts at local authorities and councils in order to develop our social engagement with communities we serve and drive-up recruitment of locals in these areas,
    • Our relationships with schools, colleges and universities,
    • Our relationships and reach to armed forces leavers and agencies supporting their efforts.
    • Our representation at careers fairs, industry forums, recruitment forums.
  • Support the TA team and Hiring Managers in mitigating all potential for unconscious bias, and maintain fairness and equality in their recruitment efforts, including:
    • Creation of clear and consistent Job Advertisements set from clear and specific Job Descriptions.
    • Clear and consistent formed questions to be asked to all candidates as part of the interview process,
    • Clear and consistent rating of all candidates against agreed ratings system.
    • Administration of our psychometric profiling tool.
  • Support the team in driving our Diversity and Inclusion initiatives forward; creating a robust D&I agenda, bringing it to life and constantly driving improvement around this.
  • Support in the continuous improvement of our TA practices and evolve our strategies around the attraction and acquisition of our people.


The experience we’re looking for you to bring:

  • Talent acquisition administration/ coordinator level experience in high growth, scale up environment (advantageous, not essential).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidentiality, tact and discretion in dealing with people.
  • Effective planning and decision-making skills.
  • Is speedy with administration and doesn’t mind a bit of pressure.
  • Ability to work well and collaborate effectively with people at all levels including senior managers and executive level.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own time effectively in a busy environment.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Capable of working with HRIS, ATS and Payroll systems as well as Google Suite and Microsoft programs.
