· We have acquired over 650,000 wayleaves across Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Private Landlords in London to support that growth.

· We have deployed our 100% full fibre network to over 400,000 premises to deliver the growth, which is rapidly moving towards 2.2 million by the end of 2024.

Job purpose:


The PIA Compliance Manager is the subject matter expert on all Openreach PIA technical and mandatory practices of working in the PIA network. You will need a good technical knowledge of how our products and equipment are used in build environments and how this relates to PIA.

You will own the relationship between Community Fibre and Openreach, hold a deep understanding of building, commissioning and testing of the Outside/Inside plan etc. using PIA, and be able to communicate this across multiple departments within the company.


What you’ll be doing:


  • Maintain a direct relationship with Openreach to ensure that both parties are upholding commitments to safety, availability and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with specified PIA Engineering Principles and related contractual commitments.
  • Ensure that any safety defects reported on by either Community Fibre or Openreach are dealt with by the relevant actions.
  • Periodically conducts PIA related audits and reviews to ensure execution of PIA compliance standards.
  • Supports Technical Manager and Quality assurance engineers developing the auditing system to align PIA Audit forms.
  • Writes and distributes documents that educate others on how to improve on compliance.
  • Maintain record of compliance assessments and duly notify his manager and the senior management team of conditions that do not meet set standards and engineering principles.
  • Play a key role in making the technical (and broader) team aware of rules related to PIA engineering principles.


The experience we’re looking for you to bring:


  • Excellent organizational skills, communications skills (written and verbal) which will be utilised in achieving desired results and are critical to the position.
  • Knowledge of Network Adjustments, Missing Inventory, and Openreach systems such as the CP Portal & Siebel.
  • Previous experience working on the Openreach Network is necessary.
  • Great at building strong internal and external working relationships.
  • Keen and eager to learn new things.
  • Passionate about telecommunications and technology.
  • A strong fit for our brand and organisational culture.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
