Job purpose:
The Server and Storage Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, improving, and supporting Community Fibre’s infrastructure service environments which support our customer-facing network. This includes both cloud (AWS) and on-premise servers, storage, applications, databases, containers, and as-a-service offerings.
You will work with the Network Engineering Team and be responsible for building new servers / systems as well as ensuring that all our existing ones are maintained, reliable and resilient.
The role covers backend systems engineering, infrastructure, and site reliability engineering within the Network Technology group.
What you’ll be doing:
You will be responsible for providing design solutions to time, cost and quality and creating proven best practices.
The experience we’re looking for you to bring:
A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a DevOps environment.
