The clue is in our name and we love working with local communities in London. We want to bridge the digital divide in society and make internet accessible to all. We also love when we can welcome residents from the local community becoming team members of CFL, over 20% of our talent is from local communities that we serve.

We are not the new kid on the block, we were established in 2013 and some of our key achievements since then include:

  • Raised £90m investment from large institutions.
  • Acquired over 360,000 wayleaves across Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Private Landlords.
  • Deployed our full fibre infrastructure to over 100,000 premises.

So far we’re proud of our achievements and we are doing a great job disrupting the broadband industry but we are definitely not stopping here. To help us we’re looking for forward thinkers, people with big ideas, people passionate about technology and most importantly hard workers to join us and help support our growing business.

Job purpose:

The Relationship Manager is responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with our major landlords, working alongside our Programme Manager and Project Managers to ensure that landlords are happy with CFL roll-out plans and execution, as well as ensuring that sign-offs and other decisions required by CFL for roll-out are navigated efficiently through the landlord’s organisation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • During the pre-wayleave stage of engagement (once there is reasonable certainty of that wayleave) the Relationship Manager will co-ordinate deliverables required from Operations (including overall roll-out plans and example artefacts such as plans or build standards) to enable the wayleave to be secured. To do this they will often attend meetings between the landlord and CFL BD to understand landlord requirements and then co-ordinate the production and presentation of deliverables with planning and build teams.
  • Once a wayleave has been acquired, they will pay close attention to initial trial project(s) to ensure that the landlord is content and that the required sign-off processes are successfully ‘incubated’ to facilitate roll-out at scale. When scale roll-out is underway they will keep in touch with the landlord and act as an informal escalation point/additional set of eyes and ears to ensure that landlords continue to be satisfied by the CFL roll-out, feeding-back the CFL PMs and Programme Manager.
  • Regular follow up with clients, answering any questions and finding out their next steps and other stakeholders that need to be engaged for them to make a decision.

The experience we’re looking for you to bring:

  • Polished presenting skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong fit for our brand and organisational culture
  • Strategic thinker
  • Well organised
  • Customer Centric
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Can-do attitude
  • Confident, personable and a team player, capable of inspiring strong collaboration in an organisation
